In this issue, we discuss the doctrine of predestination. How can a teaching be so clearly revealed and so repeatedly expounded in Scripture, and yet so easily dismissed by the Church? It has been said that salvation is by faith alone so that it may be in Christ alone so that all of the glory may go to God alone. If that’s true, then surely election is one of those glittering gems in the crown which belongs exclusively to the Great King.
