VOL. 6, NO. 3 | How Do We Receive Christ: God’s Sacraments or Ours?

In this issue, we explore the sacraments. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are supposed to unite us not only to Christ, but to his body. And yet, they have caused some of the widest divisions among professing Christians.  Whatever the correct views are, it is impossible to read the Bible without realizing that Circumcision and Passover in the Old Testament and Baptism and Communion in the New Testament are regarded with the utmost seriousness.  We cannot claim to be “Bible-Christians” if we fail to investigate God’s Word on these important subjects, even if that means that we will disagree with our brothers and sisters who have reached different conclusions.
